Neuhaus, Ella L. (Marriage - 9 Sept. 1950)
Miss Ella L. Neuhaus, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Neuhaus, and Howard O. Pacholke exchanged marriage vows in a ceremony performed Saturday afternoon in the First Ev. and Reformed church, Rev. Franz Puhlmann officiating. Mrs. Ervin Schwoerer of Manitowoc, the bride’s sister, was matron of honor and Mrs. Harold Neuhaus of Plumouth, the bride’s sister-in-law, was bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Erwin Schwoerer of Manitowoc, brother-in-law of the bride, and Harold Neuhaus of Plymouth, brother of the bride. Ushers were Elmer Neuhaus of Petersburg, Va., brother of the bride, and Edward Pacholke of Eau Claire, the groom’s brother.
The bride chose a gown of ivory satin and lace for her wedding. The lace and beads in the full skirt were repeated in the long train. A lace trimmed finger-tip veil extended from her bonnet and she carried a cascade bouquet of lilies and pink roses.
The matron of honor wore a pink brocaded satin gown and carried a bouquet of white and blue asters.
